The International Civil Aviation Organisation ((ICAO) is a UN specialised agency, established by States in 1944 to manage the administration and governance of the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
 
The International Fire Training Centre is the only airport fire training provider in the UK that has gained the status of associate member of ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme. As an approved training organisation, ICAO has officialy recognised IFTC's quality of airport fire training delivery.

Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation (OPITO)

OPITO is a key element of the oil and gas industry’s strategy for the development of skills, learning and workforce development.

A major part of OPITO's purpose is to provide an effective link between the industry and organisations (like the International Fire Training Centre) that can provide the best learning and training to meet its skills needs. 

The International Fire Training Centre is accredited by OPITO to deliver a range of Emergency Response programmes to clients operating in the field.

 
                          

 

Joint Oil & Industry Fire Forum (JOIFF)

JOIFF works to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of emergency response personnel and to improve standards of safety and of the working environment in which industry/commerce operates with the aim of ensuring that whether employed or contractual personnel manage risks safely.

The International Fire training Centre is a member of JOIFF and we offer a range of fire training programmes that meet the organisation’s rigorous standards.

Falck Nutec

Falck Nutec is a division of Falck – a Nordic based organisation who has been preventing accidents, disease and providing assistance in emergency situations for over a century. The International Fire Training Centre works in partnership with Falck Nutec.

Emergency Planning College (EPC)

The Emergency Planning College (EPC) is managed by Serco Group Plc (on behalf of the Cabinet Office). The EPC delivers emergency planning, crisis management, business continuity and public safety training, exercising and consultancy to responders from the fire industry as well as other emergency services, local authorities, voluntary and private sector.






Darlington College

The international Fire Training Centre works in partnership with Darlington College.
