Training for the Armed Forces
The International Fire Training Centre is a registered learning provider under the Ministry of Defence’s Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) scheme.
This means armed forces personnel can get funding to equip them with the skills to work in the civil aviation fire and rescue service. This accreditation can be used for all initial courses, including Fire Fighter Initial Bridging. IFTC was the first provider to develop the Fire Fighter Initial Bridging Course and we are delighted that we are now the first to offer ELCAS funding for this course.
What is ELC?
The MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme aims to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the armed forces. For more information about the Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme and how to apply, please see the ELC website.
